1. Hockomock League Crossover Basketball

The Stoughton High boys' and girls' varsity basketball teams are on the road Friday evening for the Hockomock crossover, which has teams from the League's Davenport Division (small schools) play against teams from the League's Kelley-Rex Division (large schools) that finished in the same spot in the standings.

The Stoughton High girls' varsity basketball team travels to Mansfield at 6 p.m. for the second place game. Stoughton is 11-5 and Mansfield is 11-8.

The Stoughton High boys' varsity basketball team travels to Franklin at 7 p.m. for the first place game. Stoughton has beat Franklin twice already this season. The Black Knights are 15-2; the Panthers are 13-4.

2. Blood Drive at the YMCA

The Stoughton YMCA is hosting a blood drive on Friday, February 17 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Children’s Hospital Blood Mobile will be on site. Walk-ins are welcome, or for an appointment, call Mary at 781-341-2016 (extension 229). Proper identification is required.

3. Town Spa Party

Come and help celebrate Town Spa’s new entertainment license Friday night, from 8:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.

Pizza, appetizers and a full bar will be available in Henry’s Downstairs Lounge. Entertainment will be provided by ‘Double Impact.’

There is no cover charge.

4. Stoughton Business Collecting Food for Pantries

Drop off any canned goods or non-perishable items at Malcolm & Parsons Insurance (770 Washington St. in the downtown) and they will match it during the months of December, January and February.

It will go directly to the Stoughton food banks to help those in need.
