1. SHS Academic Hall of Fame Nominations

The Stoughton Public Schools and the Stoughton Historical Society are pleased to announce that for Extraordinary Achievement are being accepted.

The Hall of Fame recognizes graduates of who have achieved notable success in his/her chosen profession.

Candidates may be nominated by any former Stoughton High School student, any present or past employee of the Stoughton Public Schools or any present or past Stoughton resident.

The deadline for applications is Friday, December 16, 2011. Click for more information.

2. Teddybear Storytime at the Library

Come join Peggy Sewcyk Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the for Teddybear Storytime. It's for children ages 3.5 to 6 years old.

3. Sports on Tap

The wrestling team travels to Oliver Ames for its season opener (7 p.m.), while the boys' and girls' swim team travels to Franklin (6:30 p.m.)

4. Senior Center Events

  • 9 a.m. - Walking Club
  • 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. - Total Body Conditioning
  • 10:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Senior Serenader Choral Practice
  • 12:30 p.m. - MOVIE: "The Help"
  • 12:45 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. - Gentle Yoga
  • 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. - Strength Training
  • LUNCH (11:15 a.m.) - Veal Roulade

5. Looking Ahead: Party All Night Long (PANL) Fundraiser at the Chateau on Thursday

Stoughton’s (PANL) organization is having a fundraiser at the Chateau (formerly Nocera’s) on Park St. in Stoughton on Thursday, Dec. 15.

Come enjoy lunch or dinner (from 11:15 a.m. until close) on 12/15 and the will donate 20 percent of your bill to Party All Night Long.

Print the ticket posted in the media gallery, and present it to your waiter or waitress when you pay the check.

Only one ticket per group is needed. It’s good for both dine-in and take out orders (781-341-2503).

Party All Night Long is the annual all-night graduation party for the Stoughton High graduating class. It takes place following graduation. The party is alcohol-free and provides a fun, yet safe venue for the graduates to celebrate.
