1. Crescent Ridge to Treat Kids to 80-Cent Kiddie Cones

As a way to celebrate 80 years of family ownership of , on Tuesday, July 10 the Parrish family is having at the Bay Road landmark in Sharon, on the Stoughton line.

2. School Committee Meeting

The Stoughton School Committee meets in the TV studio at at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10.

3. Board of Selectmen Meeting

The Stoughton Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday, July 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the (third floor, Great Hall). 

The meeting starts in executive session (closed to the public), discussing contract matters with Interim Town Manager Joseph Feaster and with Police Chief Paul Shastany.

The selectmen then reconvene in an open session, open to the public.

4. Bingo at the Senior Center

The  will hold its weekly game of BINGO at 12:45 p.m.

5. Reminder: Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton

Stoughton resident Peg Carbone continues her effort to curb hunger in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.

Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."
