It will be the last in what was a series of public meetings focused on finalizing a vision for Stoughton's future.

The Stoughton Master Plan Committee will be presenting the draft vision, goals and key issues surrounding the Master Plan for your input. This input will serve as the foundation for the next phase of the Master Plan process.

Following this forum, the consultant team, led by Brown Walker Planners will put together a final draft for public review. After the public review period, the final report will then be submitted to the Planning Board and Master Plan Committee.

3. Informational Town Meeting

It will be an opportunity to learn more about the Town Meeting process from Town Moderator Howard Hansen. Attendees will also have the chance to get signatures on their Town Meeting nomination papers.

Nomination papers for Town Meeting candidates (15 signatures from registered voters in your precinct are required) can be obtained at the Town Clerk's Office on the first floor of the Town Hall and are due back at the Town Clerk's office by no later than 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2013.

There are 60 seats that need to be filled across the eight precincts this election cycle. Town Meeting votes on the annual budget and warrant articles each spring.
