1. Honoring the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Stoughton Clergy Association invites you to a program commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Jan. 21 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) beginning at 7 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. 

Clergy and youth of the Stoughton community will present the words of Dr. King as part of this hour-long program.

A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

It is open to the community - All are welcome!

2. Stoughton High Sports on Tap

The Stoughton High boys' and girls' basketball teams are in action Tuesday evening, Jan. 15. The girls' host Mansfield at the SHS gym, while the boys' travel to Mansfield. Both games start at 6:30 p.m.

And, the Stoughton High indoor track team faces Cardinal Spellman in a meet held at Boston University starting at 4:30 p.m.

3. Bingo at the Senior Center

The Senior Center will hold its weekly game of BINGO at 12:45 p.m.

4. Reminder: Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton

Stoughton resident Peg Carbone continues her effort to curb hunger in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.

Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."
