Stoughton Police received a call at 6:56 a.m. on August 12 reporting that a four-door Hyundai Sonata had been stolen from a home on Prospect Street in the overnight hours.
Lt. Fran Wohlgemuth said the vehicle was later recovered in Mattapan on Blue Hill Ave. Reportedly, there was no damage to the car.

2. Cash Mob Stoughton at Jenna's Place
“,” which has the goal of funneling support (and money) to local businesses, has selected on Pearl St. as its "hit" this week.
The "hit" will take place between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15.

4. Last Day to Share a Haircut
The Stoughton Hair Cuttery’s two-week “Share A Haircut” program is running from August 1-15.
During this time, every time a child (18 years old or younger) receives a haircut at any of the Hair Cuttery salons in New England, including the salon in Stoughton, a free hair cut will be donated to a disadvantaged child in the community.
In Stoughton, Hair Cuttery is partnering with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families to distribute the haircuts.

Time is running out to register for the Stoughton Youth Soccer League's Fall 2012 season. The deadline is 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
