Stoughton Police received a call at 6:56 a.m. on August 12 reporting that a four-door Hyundai Sonata had been stolen from a home on Prospect Street in the overnight hours.
Lt. Fran Wohlgemuth said the vehicle was later recovered in Mattapan on Blue Hill Ave. Reportedly, there was no damage to the car.

4. Last Day to Share a Haircut
The Stoughton Hair Cuttery’s two-week “Share A Haircut” program is running from August 1-15.
During this time, every time a child (18 years old or younger) receives a haircut at any of the Hair Cuttery salons in New England, including the salon in Stoughton, a free hair cut will be donated to a disadvantaged child in the community.
In Stoughton, Hair Cuttery is partnering with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families to distribute the haircuts.
