STOUGHTON COMPANY NAMED CHAMBER'S BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

The United Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced its recipients of the 2013 Person of the Year and Business of the Year Awards. The awards will be presented at the Chamber's Annual Meeting & Luncheon Nov. 14 at noon at Lakeview Pavilion, 45 Lakeview Rd., Foxborough. The cost is $45 with pre-paid registration. RSVP by calling the Chamber at 508-222-0801. 

STOUGHTON BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

FUN Enterprises, Inc. will be recognized as the Chamber's Business of the Year. Based in Stoughton, FUN Enterprises has been an entertainment events industry leader for more than 20 years. The focus of the staff at FUN Enterprises is to provide clients with the best service and experience possible by catering to their customers' needs. Additionally, FUN Enterprises regularly steps-up to support community and Chamber events.

"I feel FUN Enterprises, Inc. is an excellent role model to the business community and it is with great admiration that I nominate the company for Business of the Year," wrote Ed McDonough of Executive Coaching in his nomination.

PERSON OF THE YEAR

Oreste (Rusty) D'Arconte has been named at The United Regional Chamber of Commerce's Person of the Year. Rusty has given back to the greater Attleboro community for the past 40 years in a variety of ways. Former publisher of The Sun Chronicle and past chairman of the Board of Directors of The United Regional Chamber of Commerce, Rusty has participated on many boards of local agencies and charities.

"I believe that it is most appropriate to present Rusty with this award for all that he has done for the Greater Attleboro area," said State Rep. Elizabeth Poirier in her nomination of Rusty. "Rusty has my unqualified recommendation to be nominated and named The United Regional Chamber of Commerce's 'Person of the Year.'"
