Drive around Stoughton and you'll notice a number of empty storefronts and buildings.
Two high-profile storefronts recently joined this group - Honey Dew and Shaw's.
Honey Dew, located in downtown Stoughton on Washington St., closed July 6.
Just two days later on July 8, Shaw's Supermarkets announced it would be closing six stores on August 3, including the Stoughton location, meaning Shaw's Plaza in Stoughton would lose its anchor store, and a 35,000 square foot retail space would become vacant.
What would you like to see take the place of these two former Stoughton businesses? Another coffee shop in the Honey Dew spot? What about Shaw's? Another supermarket? (A Facebook has been created to petition Trader Joe's to come to town.)
