Palmer: I have been in business here in Stoughton for almost 2 weeks but have been in the restaurant industry for almost 30 years.

Patch: How did you get in to the restaurant business?

Palmer: I got into the business because of my dad who also owned restaurants. He would put my brother and I to work. I've worked in all levels of the industry from corporate to private restaurants in all areas. This is the first location that I own.

Patch: What are some of your specialties?

Palmer: My specialties? That's a tough question. All of our menu items are quality products. The thought process behind the menu was to be simple and very good. We try to make "the best everything".

Our pizzas are unique to Stoughton. I believe we are the only place that does thin crust as our regular pizza. The toppings we use and the care that the staff puts behind making the food is second to none.

We try and make beautiful pizzas every time. The shape is not always a perfect circle and the toppings are not always placed at certain spots but the quality and presentation is there. Our pizza has personality and they look like a person took time to make them and not a machine or someone going through the motions.

Patch: Is this a family run business?

Palmer: This is a family run business at some point. M & G stands for Mike and Gwen. Those are my kids. Mike is 3 and Gwen will be born in a few weeks (both still a little young to work here). I named it for them because it is for them. I want them to be proud of this place and if I wouldn't serve it to my family I wouldn't serve it to a guest.

Patch: Are you originally from Stoughton?

Palmer: I am a Stoughton resident. I moved here a little over four years ago. A lot of my wife's family lives in Stoughton and we used their street's to name our specialty pizzas.

We are currently growing our menu and would like to keep this theme going. We encourage guests to submit pizza and sub ideas in person or on Facebook. If we like the ideas we will run them as a weekly special as a guest submitted idea.

If the sell and feedback are good, the guest gets a pizza named after their street and they get bragging right's or a sub named after them. I want to keep us involved in the community and get people excited about our place at the same time.

Patch: Do you ever have featured coupons or specials?

Palmer: We do feature coupons on the menus that we mail. They are reusable too.

Monday we feature weekly special items for 50% off. We are trying to encourage people to be a little daring and try something new that they may not normally try. If the items sell well enough and we get enough feed back we will add them to our full time menu.

Tuesday night we offer buy one cheese pizza get one free. It's a great offer for families or people working at an office that want to share. We do encourage people to like us on Facebook because we run random deals and featured specials. They can also call and inquire if we are running anything as well.

Patch: Do you have any new items that are not yet on the menu?

Palmer: Yes, our new Bacon Ranch Salad pizza. We season our thin crust and after it is cooked we top it with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, crispy bacon and drizzle it with ranch dressing. It's a great summer item, something unique to the area.

The next one is The Canton St. A white sauce pizza topped with cheese, chicken and broccoli. This has been a very popular item for us. Great feedback from the guests .
