New Stoughton Tedeschi Location Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Town officials, as well as Tedeschi officials were present at the store's grand opening on Friday, June 10.

About 15 Stoughton officials and representatives from Tedeschi Food Shops were present for last Friday morning’s ribbon cutting ceremony at Tedeschi’s at 987 Central Street, in the Auto Zone plaza.

The store opened up at the end of January in the storefront formerly occupied by Ruth’s Bakery, but Tedeschi officials waited until the weather was more conducive (and the snow had finally melted) before holding the official grand opening on June 10.

John Anderson, Vice Chairman of the Stoughton Board of Selectmen, had the honors of cutting the ribbon with ceremonial gold scissors shortly after 11 a.m.  He was surrounded by Stoughton and Tedeschi officials out in the parking lot, in front of the entrance to the store.

The store, even though it has been open for a few months, still has a brand-new look.

The store is open everyday from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. The store’s general manager is Donna Anderson.
