Hair Cuttery Looking to Help Stoughton-Area Non-Profits Fundraise

The Hair Cuttery (417 Washington Street) invites Stoughton-area non-profits who need help with fundraising to stop by salon to see how the salon might be able to help.

Press Release from the Hair Cuttery:

Amanda Iafrate, salon leader at the Stoughton Hair Cuttery located at 417 Washington Street, believes in giving back to the community. She has made it a priority in her life and encourages her stylists to do the same.

“I love my job – not only do I get to make people look great, I also get the opportunity to support a great community,” says Iafrate.  “My stylists and I are committed to the people of Stoughton and want to be as involved and sensitive to the needs of Stoughton residents and non-profit organizations as possible.”

Since the Stoughton Hair Cuttery salon opened five months ago, Iafrate has made sure she and her stylists honor that commitment.

The salon helped raise money for Habitat for Humanity to build a house for a family in Stoughton.  In April, during Autism Awareness Month, they held a carnival at the salon to raise money for people in Stoughton living with Autism, and this past weekend they donated $2 for every haircut they gave to the Red Cross to help support the Tornado Relief Effort, but they want to do more.

Iafrate is inviting Stoughton-area non-profits who might need help with fundraising to stop by and talk to her about how Hair Cuttery might be able to help.

Whether donating a gift basket or gift certificate or hosting a cut-a-thon to help raise money for a special cause, Iafrate wants to let the people of Stoughton know that Hair Cuttery is here to help.

“We’re more than just a hair salon.  We feel we’re also a part of our community – and giving back is a priority for all of us who work here,” says Iafrate.

In addition to continuing to support her local causes, Amanda Iafrate and her stylists also participate in existing non-profit efforts supported by Hair Cuttery including: Dress for Success, American Cancer Society, Special Olympics, Buzzing 4 Change, National Kidney Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Locks of Love.
