Capriotti's Now Open for Business in Foxborough

“Greatest Sandwich In America” made its Massachusetts debut Sunday at Patriot Place.

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop opened this past Sunday at Patriot Place, just in time for the holidays and the Patriots’ last regular season game.

Capriotti’s will bring its signature sub, the Bobbie®, voted “Greatest Sandwich in America” by thousands of AOL readers, to New England residents. Founded in Wilmington, Del. in 1976, Capriotti’s remains loyal to their promise of providing guests with the highest quality ingredients in all of their delicious, made-to-order sandwiches.

For 36 years, Capriotti’s has been slow-roasting whole, all natural turkeys and premium roast beef in-house daily to make their award-winning subs. Each whole Butterball turkey is roasted in an individual pan to marinate in its own juices and naturally roast to a beautiful golden brown, ensuring every bite is fresh, juicy and flavorful.

Capriotti’s fresh ingredients, hand-crafted subs and unique menu items have won numerous accolades including being named one of the “10 Great Places for a Surprising Sandwich” by USA Today and is a recent winner of “Best of” awards in Delaware, Las Vegas, Dallas, Quad Cities, Eastern Shore and San Diego.

Fans love Capriotti’s famous Bobbie®, made with turkey hand-pulled right off the bone, cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing, and a touch of mayo. Other Capriotti’s favorites include the Capastrami®, made with hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, coleslaw and Russian dressing and the mouthwatering Delaware-style Cheese Steak. Capriotti’s also offers a variety of meatless subs like the Veggie Cole Turkey and Vegetarian Cheese Steak, as well as an assortment of hand-tossed salads prepared fresh for hungry fans.

“Capriotti’s is looking forward to our first opening in Massachusetts. With such a strong Northeastern presence, it is time for us to introduce Capriotti’s to New England,” said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “Patriot Place is the perfect location to offer handcrafted subs to hungry shoppers, sports fans and visitors.”

Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley echoed Morris' excitement for the opening of Capriotti's.

"We could not be happier to have successful national brands like Capriotti’s looking at Patriot Place as their entre into the [New England] market," Earley said. "We have a number of similar launches with tenants new to the market and all have done very well. Also, this particular use, fresh made sandwiches, will be a great addition to our quick serve restaurant lineup."

Capriotti’s is located at 282 Patriot Place. For shop opening details and special promotions, text “CAPS98” to 25328. For general information, franchising or catering, please visit www.capriottis.com.

Capriotti's is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Hi Elaine, The restaurant is next to Old Navy (across from Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill) at Patriot Place. Stopped by there the other day and the subs are great!
