Best Of: Patch Readers Pick Piesco in Easton as Best Place for Sporting Goods in Stoughton Area

Piesco Sporting Goods is the winner of this week's "Best Of" poll.

After a week of voting, Stoughton Patch readers ventured out of the 02072 selecting in Easton as the .

Piesco Sporting Goods, located at 130 Washington St. in Easton on Route 138, not far from the Stoughton/Easton town line, finished in first place with 45-percent of the vote, placing ahead of some larger national or regional sporting good chains.

“We are honored to be the best place to buy sporting goods in the area," said Derek Plaisted, of Piesco. Piesco also won the Easton Patch version of the same poll.

"We strive to keep our hometown feel,” Plaisted continued. “At Piesco Sporting Goods, you can expect years of staff experience, top-quality athletic equipment and customized uniforms, as well as the individualized service you can only receive from a dedicated family business.”

Dick’s Sporting Goods, which has nearby locations at the Westgate Mall in Brockton and at Legacy Place in Dedham, came in second with 25-percent of the vote.

The poll opened Monday morning and closed Friday morning.
