Blooming Treasures, located at 10 Porter Street in Stoughton Center, across from the Post Office, is a full service flower and gift shop catering to Stoughton and surrounding towns.
Owner Ivis Quinchia is a long time Stoughton resident and is thrilled to be apart of the Stoughton business community.
She purchased Blooming Treasures and reopened the shop on Sept. 27, 2012 after it was closed for about two years under previous ownership.
Patch met with Quinchia to find out about Blooming Treasures.
Patch: How long has your flower shop been at this location?
Quinchia: Blooming Treasures originally opened in 2006 under a previous owner who was unexpectedly called to care for her aging parents overseas. I purchased the business over the summer and we held our “Grand Opening” this past September.
Patch: Is floral design something that you had worked at before purchasing Blooming Treasures? What is your experience?
Quinchia: I have 12 years experience in the floral industry and have successfully owned and operated a flower shop in Westwood since 2003. My staff and I are all certified in floral design and stay up to date with new and emerging products and trends. I pay close attention to detail and take great pride in providing quality personalized service to all of my customers.
Patch: What attracted you to Stoughton for your business?
Quinchia: I am a long time local resident and when the time was right for me to expand my business, what better place than the town I take pride in calling my own. In addition the newer building, shop, and location were incredibly attractive.
Patch: What type of products and services do you provide?
Quinchia: We are a full service florist offering top quality traditional & contemporary fresh floral creations for any occasion including: sympathy pieces, holiday designs, party work and weddings. We also offer balloon bouquets, custom silk designs, gift baskets, greeting cards and have a vast collection of unique gifts for any occasion and for any budget.
