The Little Theatre of Stoughton Holding Fundraiser for Lutz Family

Proceeds from a Nov. 3 dinner theatre at the Stoughton YMCA will go towards the Lutz Family Foundation, which was formed after Shayla Lutz, 3, of Stoughton, died following a tragic pedestrian accident in front of the Hansen School on Sept. 14.

The Little Theatre of Stoughton is scheduled to host a mystery dinner theatre Saturday, Nov. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Stoughton YMCA (445 Central St.) with proceeds benefiting the Lutz Family Foundation.

Shayla Lutz, 3, of Stoughton, tragically died on Sept. 14 after she was involved in a fatal pedestrian accident in front of the Hansen School. Her older sister, Ashleigh, has appeared in shows with the Little Theatre of Stoughton and the family is involved with the group.

The evening will include dinner, a show, and an auction/raffle, including gift baskets, restaurant dinner gifts certificates, hotel stays, paintings, sports tickets, and more.

I just wanted to update you on the progress for the Benefit we are doing for the Lutz Family who so tragically lost their little 3-year-old Shayla. You know her older sister Ashleigh who played the Cat and this summer played Little Snow White. You also know Dad, Billy who worked tirelessly to put up lights and do whatever carpentry work was needed. Mom, Melissa helped with House and backstage.

We have had wonderful success from the local merchants who have donated many gift certificates, paintings, gift baskets and jewelry for this event. The YMCA has donated the space and Linens unlimited has donated the tablecovers and napkins. Many have made donations. We are planning a musical portion of the evening during dinner, and then the show. We will have an ongoing raffle/silent auction for our many gifts.

I know that no matter how much we can do it will never make the pain of losing a child go away, but the feeling of care and concern does help. In my 54 years as a member of LTOS, I have personally been supported by our membership during times where friendship and family was needed. I feel that LTOS is my second family and I hope that you all feel the same.

I really is time for us to all pull together and offer comfort to one of our family members. This is a time where you can make a difference and the help and support is sorely needed.

Please do your best to support this event on Nov 3rd at the YMCA at 6:30pm. Ask your friends and family to come as well.

Tickets are on sale on the website: Littletheatreofstoughton.org
If you prefer to reserve a seat, call me at 781-834-6209 and you can pay at the door. Please let me know by the 1st of November.

Thank you for being you and I know we can all create more Magic on stage and off.

Fondly, Jan
