The Stoughton Senior Serenaders held a Black History Month performance on February 23 at the Senior Center.

The Stoughton Senior Serenaders held a special performance for a capacity crowd at the on Rockland Street in celebration of Black History Month.

The Senior Serenaders, under the direction of Helyn Hall, performed last Thursday afternoon, February 23. February is designated as Black History Month.

The group paid tribute to a number of African Americans throughout this nation’s history, like Harriet Tubman, George Washington Carver, Langston Hughes, Etta James and . with a combination of songs, performances and readings.
