Summer, a 3-year-old calico cat, went missing after being spooked by a smoke detector on Sunday.

A Stoughton resident is seeking help from neighbors in helping to find her cat, who went missing in town on Sunday.

"Our cat, Summer, went missing on Sunday, March 16," Stephanie Isabel wrote on Facebook. "She is an indoor cat, but got spooked after a smoke detector went off in the house and may have jumped out the window. She's a 3-year-old female calico cat. Very friendly. She was last seen in our house on Wyman Street, very close to the train station. Please let me know if you have seen her."

Anyone with information regarding Summer's whereabouts is encouraged to contact Isabel by adding a comment on Facebook here.
