Only a couple of inches of snow fell in the early morning hours of Sunday, but this caused scattered power outages in Stoughton and forced several weekend events in the local area to either cancel or postpone.
If this happens it January, it's commonplace, but it's rare to see snow accumulate pre-Halloween.
