Monday Essentials: Stoughton Historical Society to Host Harvest Dinner

The Stoughton Historical Society will be hosting the Harvest Dinner at the Stoughton Public Library Monday at 6 p.m. Their site has a very interesting story on Captain Asa Waters, who fought in the American Revolution. Also if you are on Facebook, make sure you check out the Stoughton Time Machine. The sites has very interesting Stoughton photos now and then and is put together by historian David Lambert.

Selectmen will be meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Yaintanes Conference Room on the third floor of town hall. Selectmen will be holding hearings on The DoCorp d/b/a/ Whiplash at 7 p.m., followed by Club 66 Cafe, an entertainment license and Life Line Autobody Collision, a Class II Dealer, which was continued from Aug. 20. The Stoughton Special Education Parent Advisory Council will be hosting a Family Ice Cream Social and Parent Information/Resource Fair Tuesday, Sept. 17, at OMS Media Center, Cushing St., from 6:30-8 p.m.

The Stoughton Board of Health will meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the town hall. They will be hosting a meeting on mosquito control. Here's the agenda for the meeting.

Greg Page of Merrimack Analysis Group will speak on Cyber-Crime Preventation for seniors at the Stoughton Public Library Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m. He will be speaking on the dangers of phishing scams, malicious software, and identity theft
