Recognizing her entrepreneurial spirit and knack for producing high quality work, Color Magazine has chosen Dolores Gonsalves-Irish, the co-Founder and CFO of Massachusetts-based marketing and advertising agency Strategis, to join a panel of five inspirational women of color to speak at the 2014 Women of Color Leadership and Empowerment Forum on June 12th, 2014 at Boston’s Copley Place.
Mrs. Gonsalves-Irish comes from a large family of African American and Cape Verdean descent, and was born and raised in the city of Boston. Dolores always believed that greatness was only achieved through constant evolution on both a professional and personal level: after graduating from Cohasset High School through the Metco Program, Mrs. Gonsalves-Irish pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Howard University in Washington D.C., and later earned a M.B.A. from Simmons College in Boston. In 1999, Dolores Gonsalves-Irish co-founded Strategis with the dream of providing a service that was client-centric, dynamic and constantly innovating. Fifteen years later, Strategis has blossomed into an evolving, mid-sized business under Dolores’ creative vision and expertise.
