Boy Scout Troop 516-Eagle Scout

Brian Vincent Walsh, son of Maryann and David Walsh,  is Stoughton's Troop 516 newest Eagle Scout.  Brian's Eagle Project was to  build a kiosk to house a map of the Storybook Trail, at the Stoughton Bird Street Conservation Area, located at the Bradley M. Lessa Memorial Playground.

The kiosk was built at Brian's  home and transported to the Lessa Playground, where it was  installed.  A total of 12 scouts and adults volunteered 96.5 hours to complete the project.

A senior at Stoughton High School, Brian will be awarded the Triple Crown for playing 3 sports throughout high school; Football,  Winter Track, and Spring Track.

The Court of Honor will be held Friday evening, May 30, 7;30 pm, at the First United Methodist Church, 103 Pleasant Street, Stoughton
