The Stoughton School Committee will be meeting Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. at the high school's television studio. The teachers, who the school administration is in contract talks with, are expected to show up at the meeting to voice their concerns.
Only a Few Tickets Are Left For Library Play
A few tickets remain at the Stoughton Library for "Murder of the Loaded Librarian," Saturday, Jan. 18, from 7-9 p.m. at Ahavath Torah Congregation, 1179 Central St. You can get tickets from cast members. There will be no sales at the door.
Dean List Honors for Sovinee-Dyroff
Chloe Sovinee-Dyroff, a member of the class of 2014 at Connecticut College and a resident of Stoughton, has been named to the Dean's High Honors list for the 2013 fall semester. At Connecticut College, Dean's Honors is a recognition for students who have earned a grade point average of at least 3.65, and Dean's High Honors is a recognition for students who have earned a grade point average of at least 3.77.

Teams are filling up fast for Stoughton Boys' Youth Lacrosse. If you are interested in playing, register now to avoid being put on the wait list. Registration fees for boys'-Grade 1-2, $125. Boys' grade 3-4, $175, five spots available, grades 5-6 $175, six spots available, grades 7-9, $175, two spots available. The girls' lacrosse program is for grades 5-9 and the registration fee is $150. Every player is also required to pay a separate membership fee that goes directly to the US Lacrosse Association.
