Stoughton School Committee to Hear Cirriculum Update

The Stoughton School Committee will be meeting Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Stoughton High School television studio at 7 p.m. Stoughton Teachers Association, who is involved in contract talks with the school committee, is on the agenda along with a school-curriculum update on the mentoring porgram and the proposed FY15 Budget Discussion.

-Stoughton selectmen are sponsoring a public forum on the South Coast Rail Projects, Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall on the third floor of the Great Hall. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is proposing the expansion of the electrified rail service through Stoughton to New Bedford and Fall River. -The Stoughton High Drama Department will be presenting its a "It's A Wonderful Life," Friday, Nov. 15, Saturday, Nov. 16, both at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. General admission is $8, while faculty, students and children 10 and under are $5.

-Boy Scout Troop 516 will be distributing a free bucket of sand/salt mixture that can be used on walkways, Friday, Nov. 29.

-It will be a breezy and bright start to Veterans Day with more clouds in the afternoon, according to WHDH. Temperatures will be in the mid-40s to lower 50s. There will be a lot of 34.
