Stoughton Police to Host Prescription Take Back Day

The Stoughton Police Department and Stoughton OASIS is conducting a mobile take back for prescription medicine from seniors Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is design to take unused meds out of circulation and dispose of them properly. The town will be holding a take back event, Saturday, Oct. 26, during hazardous waste day. Stoughton police also want to remind people that they can bring prescription medications to the station's lobby drop box. No liquids or needles are accepted. 

The Stoughton School Committee will be meeting Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the television studio at 7 p.m. This will be a joint meeting with the selectmen.

The Stoughton Board of Health will be meeting Tuesday, Oct. 22, at town hall on the first floor at 7 p.m.

Stoughton's Household Hazardous Wast and Used Tire Collection Day will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, from 8 a.m. to noon at the O'Donnell Middle School parking lot. The rain date is Nov. 2.

Enjoy the 70s today as the temperatures will be dropping the rest of the week, according to WHDH-TV. It will be partly sunny today before the temperatures drops to 45 Wednesday and into the 50s the rest of the way.
