Stoughton Police Chief to Get Roasted

Stoughton Police Chief Paul Shastany will be roasted Friday, Nov. 8, from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Portuguese Nation Club. A portion of the proceeds will go to the chief's selected charity, "Cops for Kids with Cancer."
Tickets are $25 and available at Windsor Tire , Copy Inks and at www.stoughtonMA.com.
The roster lineup includes attorney Fran Crimmins, the former town manager, Bob Devine, the Deputy Police Chief, John Batchelder, the Stoughton DPW Superintendent, selectman Steve Anastos, former selectman John Anderson and Ken Shastany, the chief's brother. Mark Snyder will be the host. 

Stoughton Flu Clinic Schedule
The Stoughton Public Health and VNA are presenting flu clinics in October and November at the Stoughton Public Health office, Stoughton town hall, second floor.
The flu clinic will be given on the following dates:
Thursday, Oct. 31: 9 to 10 a.m., 4 to 6 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 7: 9 to 10 a.m., 4 to 6 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 14: 9 to 10 a.m., 4 to 6 p.m.
They ask you to bring you insurance card with you. They will bill your insurance and there will be no co-pay. If you don't have insurance, a donation will be appreciated.

Stoughton Football Team to Face Hingham in Playoffs
The Stoughton High football team will be playing Hingham in the first round of the Division 3 Southwest playoff Friday night. It is Stoughton's first playoff appearance.

Lombardo's to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

Lombardo’s Function Facility is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. To celebrate this milestone, the Lombardo Family will host a gala at their Randolph location on Friday, Nov. 8.  One hundred percent of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Fisher House of Boston, a home away from home where our military families can stay while a loved one is receiving in house treatment at one of their medical centers. The gala will be hosted on Veteran’s Day weekend and will be a private event for friends, family, vendors and clients who have supported Lombardo’s for the past five decades.
