Stoughton Master Plan Committee to Tour Downtown

Peg Carbone and The Stoughton Chamber of Commerce are inviting you to The Taste of Stoughton & Business Expo and to help them "Stuff a Truck" for Stoughton Food Pantries, Saturday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Stoughton High cafeteria. The truck is owned by Terry Schneider, the executive director of The Stoughton Chamber of Commerce, that is bringing back the Taste of Stoughton & Business Expo. Tour Town Center Saturday
The Stoughton Master Plan Committee and Consultant Team will be giving a “Town Center One Hour Tour” on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 9:30 a.m.  The event will be held rain or shine.There will be a master plan table at the Stoughton’s Farmers' Market at Trackside Plaza. The tour will include project updates for key properties in transition, observations of the pedestrian environment, civic gathering spaces, traffic and safety, land uses, building design and façade treatments and housing. The tour is designed for sharing information, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The members of the Stoughton Master Plan Committee are Joseph Scardino, chairman, Daniel Kelly, vice chairman, Bill Angelos, Lou Gitto, Forrest Lindwall, Chris Petrie, Bob O'Regan and Noreen O'Toole, town planner and staff support. Rummage Sale at Ahavath Torah Congregation Oct. 27

Ahavath Torah Congregation's Sisterhood will once again host its popular Semi-Annual Rummage Sale on Sunday, Oct. 27,  from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Check out the huge selection of men's, women's and children's clothing, as well as small household items, bric-a-brac, bedding, toys, purses, a large selection of books, and shoes for the whole family. These bargain prices will be available for one day only at Ahavath Torah Congregation. The synagogue is located at 1179 Central St, Stoughton, just off Route 138 and minutes from Rtes. 24, 139, 27 and 123. Storytime at the Stoughton Library

There will be a pre-school storytime at the Stoughton Public Library Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
