Stoughton Hall of Famers to be Inducted Today

The Stoughton Public Schools and the Stoughton Historical Socery will be inducting Robert F. Rivers, class of 1982 and Priscilla E. Geigis of the Class of 1983, Friday, Oct. 4, at 9:15 a.m. at the high school auditorium. The public is welcomed to attend. 

Taste of Stoughton and the Stoughon Chamber Business Expo, sponsored by Randolph Savings Bank, will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Stoughton High School. The admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Proceeds will benefit the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce, Parents of Performing Students and the Stoughton Police Explorers Program. The Teddy Bear Storytime will be at the Stoughton Public Library today for three-seven-year-olds at 6:30 p.m.

The Bradley M. Lessa Memorial Park 1.8 mile walk fundraiser will take place Monday, Oct. 14, at Gibbons School, at 10 a.m. The cost is $15 per person, including BBQ and contributions. It will start at the Gibbons School and finish at the Bradley Lessa Playground. You can send you family name, email, number of people participating to Walk for the Bradley Lessa Playground, c/o The Lessa Family, 984 West St., Stoughton, 02072. A 100-percent of the proceeds go to purchase of new equipment.

Stoughton Community Center Events Committee, in partnership with Stoughton Little Theatre, McNamara Farms and the Y will be presenting Annual Haunted Hayride "Tractor of Terror," Saturday, Oct. 19, from 6-9 p.m. at the Cedar Hill Golf Course. The cost is $3 per person. The 6-7 p.m. house if for young children, while 7-9 p.m. is for the brave. They are looking for volunteers. If interested, call 781-436-0323.
