"Taste of Stoughton" is Back

After about a decade-long hiatus, the popular "Taste of Stoughton" event where residents flocked to the high school cafeteria to sample food from restaurants and vendors from around town is back, Stoughton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Terry Schneider said.

The Taste of Stoughton and Stoughton Chamber Business Expo will take place October 19, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. (food from 11 until 2) at the Stoughton High cafeteria.

Price of admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.  Proceeds will benefit the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce, Stoughton POPS (Parents of Performing Students), and the Stoughton Police Explorers Program.

There will be raffles, fire and police demonstrations, and live music.

And, in addition to the food, businesses from around town will have the opportunity to set up a table at the event. (Chamber members get a free table with donation of a raffle prize - minimum value of $50 - and non-chamber members can get a table for $150, which includes a six month membership to the Chamber.)

Reserve your table by September 18 by contacting Joanne Schneider, Chamber membership director, at joanne@stoughtonma.com.

For more information, contact event chairman Mark Leppo at Mleppo@ziprealty.com.
