Opening Night for 'It's a Wonderful Life' at Stoughton High

The Stoughton High Drama Department will be presenting its a "It's A Wonderful Life," Friday, Nov. 15, Saturday, Nov. 16, both at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. at Stoughton High School. General admission is $8, while faculty, students and children 10 and under are $5. Students participating in the show are Dan Fountain, Anna Ignatyev, Kirsten Mauriello, Kati Elwood, William Phillips, Devin Johnson, Mikaella Dutra, Lana D'Addieco, Sydney Adie, Rebecca Mcsweeney, Jordan Watson, Josh Williams, Lisa Bontemps, Amanda Doherty, Amber Ais, Ilisa Flum, Sierra Watson, Fatima Julien, Kathleen Walsh, Denise Pratt, Caitlyn Cote, Madison Rosbach, Shauna Millican, Michaela Williams, Olivia MacDonald, Samantha Langmead, Corey Shore, Mikayla Williams, Fabi Sapini, Giovanna Fiandaca, Rachel Armany, Brendan Stebbins, Darshi Patel, Hugmaelle Jean, Ella Vieira, Bertia Barbell and Debby Crespo.

-The Stoughton High football team will be playing at Oliver Ames in Easton tonight for the Division 3 Southwest title at 7 p.m. Stoughton is 7-1 on the season with their only loss to Oliver Ames. The Tigers are 8-0.

-The Hanny Landman Committee is putting a Christmas package of toiletries, candy, DVDs and other items to be sent to any Stoughton resident currently serving in the military away from home. This is sent to the service person on behalf of all residents thanking them for their service and sacrifice. Stoughton fightfighers Jim Rush and Jim Brackett are the co-chairman of the Harry Landman Committee. All names of those serving away from home need to be typewritten and delivered to the fire station at 30 Freeman St., no later than Dec. 4.

-The Stoughton Police are collecting new, unwrapped, age appropriate toys for toddlers to teens for Toys For Tots. Toys can be dropped off at the Stoughton Police Department, 26 Rose St. in Stoughton.

-There's going to be a warm-up today, according to WHDH, as temperatures are expected to reach a high of 60 with sunny skies. There will be a low of 34.
