The Charter Review Committee will be meeting tonight on the first floor of town hall at 7 p.m, while the finance committee will be meeting on third floor at town hall at 7:30 p.m.
The Stoughton High school committee will be meeting Tuesday at the high school television station at 7 p.m. On the agenda, the committee will be hearing improvement plans for the South School, the West School, the Dawe School and the Hansen School. They will also be hearing about the Jones School Easement.
The construction will be continuing at Island Street this week. According to the Stoughton Police, the following traffic pattern will be in affect: No traffic will exit Island at Central, Island Street .will be one way (in from Central). Traffic wishing to travel out to Central Street will be detoured to Mill Street. This will cause delays for the duration of the project. Police ask you to please seek alternate routes.
The following colleges and universities will be visiting Stoughton this week: Monday-Suffolk University, 9:20 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, Salve Regina University, 8:30 a.m., Wheelock College, 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 25, Stevenson University, 12:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 26, Providence College, 12:30 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 27, Nichols College, 9:15 a.m. Interested seniors should stop by the guidance office to sign up for any of these visits.
There will be a O'Donnell Middle School Peer Leadership meeting today at 2:20 p.m.
