Holland Honored at American International College

Michal Holland of Stoughton was among 24 American International College students recently recognized for their campus and community involvement. The students were inducted into Who's Who Among
Students at American Universities and Colleges. Families, friends, faculty and staff filled the Bradley Room on Thursday, Dec. 12, for the ceremony, as Brian O'Shaughnessey, Dean of Students,
presented each student with a plaque. Holland, a communications major, is a writer for the AIC newspaper, The Yellow Jacket, a member of the Christian Conqueror's Club and a Peer
Mentor. He also serves as a student ambassador and is a member of the AIC
Lion's Club.

Buy Your Tickets for Murder Mystery

SOLA (Support Out Library Association) will be presented a murder mystery, "Murder of the Loaded Librarian," Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, from 7-9 p.m. at Ahavath Torah Congregation, 1179 Central St., Stoughton. This is a 21 and over event. The snow date is Sunday, Jan. 19, at 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person with seating limited. They can be purchased at the Stoughton Public Library, from cast members, or by calling 781-341-0856 or by sending a Facebook message to Dori Frankel. Fred Yaitanes will be the director, assisted by Jan Jones of Stoughton Little Theatre. The stars will be Steve Bates. John Batchelder, Bob Devine, Mark Doloff, Steve Kelley, Donna Locurto, Juliet Miller, Chris Petrie, TJ Recupero and Peggy Sewcyk. Dr. Maggie Rizzi, the Stoughton School Superintendent, will be performing on bass, while Stoughton librarian Pat Basler will be the host. The script is by Tom and Penny Warner. There will be free parking. A cash bar and snacks will be available.

School's Out For Winter Vacation Friday
The final day of school before winter vacation will be Friday, Dec. 20. School will reopen Jan. 2.

Story/Craft Time at Stoughton Library

There will be a story/craft time at the Stoughton Library, Thursday, Dec. 19, for ages 2-3 1/2 in the children's room.
