Christmas Parade of Lights Set For Saturday

The Christmas Parade of Lights will be held Dec. 7 at 4:30 p.m. under the lights. The parade will start at Stoughton High and go to through Stoughton Center before ending at Halloran Park.

Stoughton Looks For New Southeastern Representative

Roberta Harback stepped down as Stoughton's member on the Southeastern Regional School Committee, effective Nov. 30. She had one year left on her term and told selectmen she would like to help in picking her replacement. The selectmen and school committee will be meeting to select a new representative.

Stoughton Selectmen to Meet Tuesday
The Stoughton selectmen will be meeting Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. at town hall.

Stoughton Seniors Accepted Into Colleges
Stoughton High is announcing their senior students being accepted into colleges for 2014. The college acceptances are for Franklin Pierce University, New England Institute of Technology, Tulane University, the University of Maine-Orono and Western New England University.

It will be mostly cloudy today, according to WHDH, with highs near 40s. Looking ahead to Saturday for the Christmas Lights Parade, there could be morning snow or rain if a front gets stuck. The rest of the day is looking clear with temperatures at a high of 35 and low of 26.
