A Talk on Cyber-Crime at Stoughton Public Library Tonight

Greg Page of Merrimack Analysis Group will speak on Cyber-Crime Prevention for seniors at the Stoughton Public Library Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m. He will be speaking on the dangers of phishing scams, malicious software, and identity theft.

There will be an instrumental registration at Stoughton High tonight at 6:30 p.m.

Daniel Clark, the "Singing Trooper" will be performing at the Stoughton Public Library, Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The special program is sponsored by SOLA (Support Our Library Association) and by the Stoughton Cultural Council, a local agency, supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

An interesting note from the Stoughton Historical Society's Harvest Dinner. President Dwight McCarron was reading the meeting notes of secretary Amelia M. Clifton who was part of the original society. She was honored with Jack Sidebottom Award Monday night. McCarron asked the crowd why they thought was the first vote taken in 1895. Nobody got it. The answer was they voted on whether to have men and women in the society.

There will be a very cold start to today with temperatures in the upper 30s, according to WHDH. It will warm up near 70. with plenty of sunshine.
