DESCRIPTION:Sunday morning worship at the First Congregational Church of 
 Stoughton begins at 10 a.m. and lasts approximately one hour.&nbsp\; The
  service includes hymns\; a prayer of confession\, silent confession\, a
 nd assurance of pardon\; scripture lessons\; sermon\; passing of the pea
 ce\; an opportunity to share joys and concerns and light votive candles\
 ; a pastoral prayer\; choir anthem\; and offering.&nbsp\;\nChildren come
  for the first part of worship until "A Time for All" (the children's me
 ssage)\, after which they go to their Sunday School classes.\nHoly Commu
 nion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month\, and children are w
 elcome to partake.\nOur nursery is open from 9:45 to 11:15 am for little
  ones up to age 3.\nFollowing worship\, everyone is invited to our Coffe
 e Fellowship time to share conversation over a cup of coffee.&nbsp\;\nIn
  addition to Sunday&nbsp\;worship\, the First Congregational Church of S
 toughton offers a variety of bible studies\, adult discussion groups\, a
 nd mission outreach opportunities.&nbsp\; We have a vibrant ministry for
  middle and high school youth\, as well as an active Sunday School progr
