The Stoughton Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SSEPAC) invites you to its 3rd regular business meeting of the 2012-13 school year.
Date: Wednesday, February 27, 2013
Time: 6:30 pm
Place: Wales French Room, Stoughton Public Library, 84 Park Street
This meeting will be an open meeting/business meeting for all parents and other community members. The focus for this meeting is to solicit input from you - fellow parents about special education services and the SSEPAC so we can provide input into future planning.
We would like to know how you think we can organize and/or contribute to a collaborative process to develop a “Special Education Improvement Plan” modeled on those produced by the individual school councils on a yearly basis.
We would like to know what you think works well and what you think could be improved about special education services in the town as well as the best ways to gather such information from all parents.
We would also like to know what types of programming you think there could be a need for in the future, based on what you know about your child.
Finally, as your representatives, we would like to know what SSEPAC, as a group, could do better as well.
In addition, the monthly business will be conducted, including the monthly update from the Administrator of Special Education and planning for the upcoming year.
This is your forum to get meaningful information to help you make decisions and participate fully in your child’s education.
We hope to see you there!
