The focus of November’s meeting is to learn more about the substantially separate programs offered by the Stoughton Public Schools, including descriptions of the programs, the focus of the programs, how the programs work at different levels.
The programs that will be discussed are:
1) Alternative Learning Center (ALC) Program- Hansen, OMS, SHS
2) Therapeutic Learning Center (TLC) Program- Jones, Dawe, OMS, SHS
3) Learning Center (LC)/Life Skills Program - Gibbons, OMS, SHS
4) Language-Based Program (secondary level)- OMS

More About Edwin A. Jones Early Childhood Center
Located on Walnut Street near the Stoughton Public Library, the Jones Early Childhood Center is housed at the historic Jones School building, which has been an educational site since 1872. The current principal is Heather Tucker.
The Jones offers both half and full day preschool programs. According to the school's website, children take part in "cooperative play, group learning times, drama, experiences with literature, math, and music, physical education sessions, scientific exploration and art."
