Ring in the New Year in style! On Sat., Dec. 31, at 7:00 PM, celebrate the New Year at Ahavath Torah Congregation with a full evening of cocktails, a gourmet dinner from hors d'oeuvres to dessert, and dancing to the amazing Boston Baked Blues with Vinny Serino. Boston Baked Blues is one of Boston's best blues bands, and a mainstay of the blues scene for nearly twenty-five years. They are multiple winners of the Boston Music Awards.

Enjoy a full evening starting at 7:00 PM, of fabulous complimentary cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a gourmet dinner, champagne toast, dessert, coffee and tea, along with the Boston Baked Blues, all for just $80 per person. Or, arrive at 9:00 PM to dance to the sound of Boston Baked Blues, and to top off the evening with a champagne toast, dessert, coffee and tea, all for just $60 per person. There will be a cash bar, raffles, and more.

Boston Baked Blues is fronted by Vinny Serino and his sometimes searing, screaming and sometimes soulful and crying harmonica stylings. Ahavath Torah Congregation Synagogue, located on Central Street, just past the intersection with Pearl Street, serves 250 Jewish families from Stoughton and the surrounding communities of Bridgewater, Canton, Easton, Foxboro, Norton and Randolph. The family-oriented Jewish (Conservative) Congregation was founded in 1919 and has been located at the current building since 1970. 

Ahavath Torah houses the Rabbi Henry Gerson Religious School.  Class times are Tue, from 4pm to 6pm and Sun, from 9am to noon.  The number for the religious school is 781-344-8755.  The Synagogue also has adult education classes, Jewish youth organizations and a sisterhood and a brotherhood. 

The current Rabbi is Jonathan Hausman.
