Norfolk District Attorney's Bullying Workshop
Community Forum

Patty Snell and Judy Biagi from the Community Outreach Unit of the Norfolk District Attorney's office present an educational workshop about bullying issues.  All parents and other interested community members are welcome to attend.

The Norfolk D.A.’s Office presents workshops about bullying and cyber-bullying to communities to help students and families better understand the complexities of this serious issue.  The presenters will address the nature of bullying behavior and the various motivations behind it, the role of the bystander, and the increasing use and potential misuse of personal technology.  They will also discuss updates in Massachusetts law on this issue, how commonplace situations may have legal implications, and the potential consequences of certain types of conduct.  Finally, the presenters will discuss the importance of sound decision-making before, during and after a potential situation arises.
