• James White, 30, paced the Stoughton runners at this year's Boston Marathon, finishing in 2:53:23.

Instead of Dangerousness Hearing, Bail Set for Stoughton Brothers in Alleged Perry Street Disturbance

• Edwin Saladin and Gladimy Saladin were arrested in the early morning hours on April 3 following a disturbance at a Perry Street apartment. Bail was set for both Edwin and Gladimy. They are due back in court on June 24 for a probable cause hearing.

Gunshot Victim Found Near Stoughton-Canton Line Has Died

• The MBTA Police are reporting that a gunshot victim found behind 272 Tosca Drive, near the train tracks of the Commuter Rail in Stoughton late Wednesday afternoon was transported to an area hospital. According to David Traub, spokesman for the Norfolk County District Attorney's office, the victim, a Stoughton man, has since died.

• Stoughton's Chris D'Arpino rescued a lost dog from an old rail bridge Wednesday morning in Easton.

After getting edged by Mansfield, the SHS softball team bounced back to beat Norton to go 1-1 this week. Meanwhile, the SHS baseball team lost in heartbreaking fashion to Mansfield, 3-2, with the tying run getting thrown out at home for the final out of the game.

Olans, Moriarty and Zuk Help Stoughton High Softball Edge Norton

• Jess Olans tossed a two-hit shutout to help the Black Knights defeat the Lancers 3-0 on Thursday. Moriarty and Zuk collected two hits apiece.

Mansfield Holds Off Stoughton High Softball

• The Black Knights took an early 5-0 lead Tuesday on the road, but Mansfield came back to take a 7-6 victory.

Joseph, Levenson and Oliveria provide Highlights for Stoughton High Boys’ Tennis at Mansfield

• The Black Knights lost to Mansfield 3-2 on Tuesday with Jalen Joseph winning his singles match and Josh Levenson and Sheldon Oliveria winning their doubles match.
