1. Presidential Debate Viewing Party

Voters from Stoughton, Sharon and Canton are invited to watch the first presidential debate Wednesday night, Oct. 3, between President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney at Centerfields Bar & Grille in Canton, according to the Stoughton Democratic Town Committee website.

The viewing party will kick off at 9 p.m. in the billiards room at CenterFields. No reservations are needed, according to the StoughtonDems website. The event is expected to be casual in nature.

2. Time Change for Stoughton High Football Game

The start time for this Friday's Stoughton High football game vs. Foxborough will now be at 6 p.m. at Sarno field at SHS.

3. Stoughton High Boys' Soccer Fundraiser at Stelios

According to the Stoughton Youth Soccer Facebook page, the Stoughton High School Boys Soccer team is having a fundraiser at Stelio's on Central St. this Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Stelios will be donating a portion of its profits from sales on Oct. 3 to the SHS boys soccer team.

5. Looking Ahead: Destination Imagination Construction Challenge Car Wash

Stoughton High School Destination Imagination Construction Challenge teams are having a car wash at Walgreens in Stoughton this Saturday, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
