With the high school fall sports season right around the corner, two of Stoughton High's teams have announced preseason fundraisers.
And if your car needs to be washed, you're in luck.
The Stoughton High volleyball team will be holding a car wash at the Walgreens parking lot in Stoughton (corner of Washington and Central Streets) Saturday, August 11 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The car wash is $5.
The SHS volleyball program is entering its 5th year. Last season the varsity team made the postseason tournament for the first time, finishing the regular season at 10-8.
The next weekend, the Stoughton High varsity football team will be hosting a car wash on Saturday, August 18 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. It will also take place at the Stoughton Walgreens and will cost $5.
The Black Knights finished the 2011 season at 6-5 and 3-1 in the Davenport Division. It was their first winning season since 2006, with the team just missing out on a playoff berth.
