The Stoughton High School Drama Department will be in full force this weekend as they put on their annual production, "Check Please."
This rendition of "Check Please," originally written by Jonathan Rand, is designed by the dedicated drama students here at Stoughton High.
The production will take place Saturday, May 12 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and a late Sunday matinee performance at 5 p.m.
"Check Please" is a comedy about the difficulties of speed dating. The main roles will be played by Stoughton High students Katherine Scabia and Ryan Loughran. Megan DeSimone is the director of the production.
The students at Stoughton High have been working long and hard in getting this play ready for many months now.
There is no formal drama class at Stoughton, so all the work being done for the production was all done on the student's own time.
General admission is $8; students can get in for $7; and kids 12 and under for $5; The play is approximately 40 minutes in length.

This was a great production by the entire SHS cast. It was a result of many hours of rehearsal, despite attending classes and homework. Congratulations to all the students, with a special shout out to Katherine Scabia, who added another great performance to her resume!
