The game is called "50X The Cash," but the prize a Stoughton woman claimed from the Massachusetts State Lottery this week was significantly larger than 50 times the value of the $10 scratch ticket.
Patricia E. Clark, a retired grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 13, was the winner of a $1 million prize, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery website.
Clark opted for the one-time, lump sum payment of $650,000, and plans to do some housework with the money, according to The Lottery.
The winning ticket of "50X The Cash" was purchased at the Tedeschi store on Washington St. in Stoughton. The store receives a $10,000 commission as a result.
According to The Lottery website, there is just a 1 in 1,680,000 chance of winning $1 million in "50X The Cash."
Meanwhile, earlier this month Hdervens Noel of Holbrook won a million dollar prize in the "$10,000,000 Diamond Millionaire" game, purchasing his ticket here in Stoughton at the Central Liquor Mart on Wyman St.
Central Liquor Mart also receives a $10,000 commission for selling the ticket.
