Stoughton residents don’t necessarily have to travel to the mall to meet Santa Claus before Christmas.
Over the next week, he will be in town at the following events:
Breakfast with Santa at the YMCA
There will be crafts, stories, music, raffles, and more. Breakfast will be catered by Peppercorns Cafe.
The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
Registration is required by Dec. 7. Walk-ins on Saturday morning will be accommodated if space is available.
Call 781-341-2016 with questions.
Stoughton’s Annual Christmas Parade
The Annual Stoughton Christmas Parade is Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m.
It starts at the Stoughton High parking lot, proceeds down Pearl St. into the center of town, and ends at Faxon Park, across from the Stoughton Public Library.
About Town's Mark Snyder will be the emcee of the parade again this year. Join him for trivia before the parade at the bleachers set up near the old Pacheco Hardware Building.
Santa will be a featured participant in the parade.
Santa will also be spending time at the gazebo in Faxon Park following the parade.
Meet Santa Claus on the Set of Community Forum
Santa Claus will be making his annual visit to the Community Forum Show on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 3:15 p.m.
Santa will be traveling to the SMAC Studio, 421 Page St., Suite 2, in Stoughton, by Fire Engine provided by our friends at the Stoughton Fire Dept.
All kids are invited to greet Santa when he arrives and then come into the studio and bring your wish list to him.
Community Forum will record your visit for playback on Dec. 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27 on Comcast 9 and Verizon 28.
