John Stagnone, Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, presented Tucker with the official proclamation.

Upon receiving the proclamation, Tucker took a moment to read the following:

I would like to take a moment and thank Girl Scouts and my leader of the past 5 years Jacqui Harrison, for teaching me the core values of Character, Confidence and Courage.

I would also like to thank Chairman Stagnone and all the Selectmen for giving me the opportunity to put into practice these values and for recognizing and giving the Girl Scouts this honor.

And finally, thank you to the town of Stoughton for all the community support of Girl Scouting.

Girl Scouts have come a long way in 100 years.  We are aiming higher for the next 100.

The girls will enjoy some cake and learn what life was like in Stoughton 100 years ago, back in 1912.
