Temperley is a Quincy Republican running for Congress in the new 8th District, which includes Stoughton.
Temperley will look to challenge Democrat US-Rep Stephen Lynch (D-South Boston) in November. Before that, he will oppose fellow Republican Joseph Selvaggi of Boston in the September 6 primary election.
