In anticipation of Tuesday night’s Division 2 South Sectional Semifinal matchup between the Stoughton High boys’ basketball team and Oliver Ames, your Stoughton Patch editor and Easton Patch Editor Pat Maguire are making a friendly wager on the game.

Stoughton and Oliver Ames have played some classic games over the years—including overtime and quadruple overtime tilts last school year (both Stoughton wins). This regular season, the Black Knights and Tigers have split their two meetings, with the home team winning both games.

This will be the fifth postseason meeting between the two Hockomock League rival schools since 2005, with both teams winning two games a piece.

If Stoughton wins, Pat will treat me to something in Easton. But If OA wins, I treat Pat to something in this town.
