Gallery: Stoughton's 4th of July Fireworks Show (2012)

Photos from Stoughton's 2012 Fourth of July fireworks show, held Tuesday, July 3 at Stoughton High School.

Take a look at the media gallery for highlights from Tuesday night’s fireworks show (including a video of the finale). Hundreds of spectators of all ages gathered on the and around the SHS track to watch the impressive fireworks display.

The show, organized by the Stoughton Community events Committee, started a little after 9:30 p.m. and lasted about a half-hour. A donation from  helps to fund Stoughton's 4th of July activities.

Prior to the start of the show, one shell went off in memory of Bob Parsons, who passed away on May 24 of this year at the age of 60. , a longtime volunteer in town who had served as chairman of the Stoughton Fourth of July Committee for 30 years until 2006.

After the tribute, Ronnie Lewis and the Expedition concluded their concert with a rendition of America the Beautiful, which was followed by the fireworks display.
