Flag Day, a day to celebrate the American Flag, is observed annually on June 14

The American Flag purchased thanks to the "Raise the Flag" fundraiser appropriately made its debut on Flag Day, as members of the Stoughton Fire Department had the flag on display at the Hansen School. 

Hansen students recited the pledge of allegiance in front of the flag.

The "Raise the Flag" fundraiser was spearheaded by Stoughton Patch writer Christine Iacobucci and her daughter Bella.
