Gallery: 7th Annual Doin' It For Diane Fundraiser

About 100 people came to the Portuguese National Club Friday night, April 27 for the 7th annual “Doin’ It For Diane” fundraiser, a benefit for Stoughton's food pantries.

The fundraiser is named in memory of Diane Murray, wife of longtime South School principal David Fisher. Shortly after Diane died in August 2005, the first "Doin' It For Diane" (DIFD) event was held, as a way to honor Diane and her favorite charity.

This year, more than $20,000 was raised for Stoughton's food pantries - the Ilse Marks Pantry and St. Anthony's Free Market. This represented the most money raised in the seven year history of the event.
